Job summary

Volumetric Building Companies (VBC) seeks a VP of DfMA Integration and Operations to lead design-to-fabrication processes across architecture, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and project delivery. You will translate design intent into production-ready solutions and drive governance, standards, and performance across the Studio.

Reporting to the Chief Design Officer, you will build scalable workflows, lead cross-functional teams, and advance continuous improvement in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in design, engineering, manufacturing, or construction.
• DfMA (design for manufacturing and assembly) familiarity required.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and large initiatives.
• Strong understanding of design delivery, coordination, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to implement governance, processes, and continuous improvement.
• Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or operational-excellence experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operating model for the design organization.
• Drive design integration across design, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
• Establish governance and release standards for production readiness.
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and performance data.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing DfMA team.
