Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7-10 years of related information technology experience.
• 4-7 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with insurance industry IT leadership strongly desired.
• Experience with insurance industry distribution channels, agency partnerships, and associated agent facing technology strongly desired.
• Experience with API first and cloud native development desired.
• Experience with AI automation desired.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and drive execution for technology platforms supporting sales and distribution.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote business growth through technology.
• Deliver on technology strategy with accountability as an officer of the company.
• Monitor InsurTech and market trends to inform enterprise development strategy.
• Plan and organize work of associates and management in the technology function.
• Lead a team of technology professionals and foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Partner with leaders on cross-division initiatives and system integration.
• Define cost management goals, budgets, and optimize technology investments.
• Set objectives and key results to track progress across functional areas.
• Encourage innovation and explore new technologies to improve agent/producer/customer experience.
• Manage vendor contracts and external relationships.
