Job summary

Ameritas seeks a senior technology leader to plan, direct, and manage technology functions enabling sales and distribution for the Individual Division. The role emphasizes API-first, cloud-native solutions and AI-driven automation to enhance producer experience and distribution growth.

Hybrid work is offered, with in-office presence in Lincoln, NE, and relocation assistance available. You will partner with business stakeholders and external vendors to ensure cost-effective, strategic outcomes

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of related information technology experience.
• 4-7 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with insurance industry I.T. leadership strongly desired.
• Experience with insurance industry distribution channels and agent facing tech strongly desired.
• Experience with API first and cloud native development desired.
• Experience with AI automation desired.

• Set strategic direction and drive execution for technology platforms.
• Build and cultivate stakeholder relationships to promote business growth.
• Lead enterprise technology strategy aligning cross-division initiatives.
• Monitor industry trends in InsurTech and agent-facing tech.
