Job summary

Gravie is seeking a Vice President of Data to define and lead how data drives our health benefits strategy and improves member experiences and outcomes. This leader will set Gravie’s data strategy, establish platforms, governance, analytics capabilities, and organizational structures to unlock value from member, employer, provider, and claims data.

A player-coach leader, you’ll work across executive teams to shape enterprise strategy and scale data architecture, governance, and AI-enabled

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise data analytics, data platforms, or data products.
• Healthcare industry experience with health plan or benefits data.
• Proven data strategy definition and operating models.
• Hands-on data leader capable of strategy and technical decisions.
• Strong strategic, commercial and financial judgment.
• Experience applying analytics, data science, or AI to improve outcomes.
• Experience building or modernizing cloud data platforms and pipelines.
• Knowledge of data architecture, security, privacy, and data-management practices.
• Experience enterprise data governance programs and ownership.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and de-identification principles.
• Experience with HITRUST, SOC 2 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Gravie’s enterprise data strategy.
• Identify opportunities to use Gravie’s data to improve member experiences and cost.
• Partner with clinical, actuarial, and operations leaders to improve affordability and utilization.
• Develop differentiated data products, insights, and services.
• Build Gravie’s data science capabilities to turn data into predictive insights.
• Lead evolution of data architecture, pipelines, and BI capabilities.
• Establish and lead data governance and stewardship functions.
• Lead AI initiatives across Gravie’s products and operations.
• Ensure responsible AI and model governance with Legal and Compliance.
• Strengthen the data engineering, architecture, and analytics organization.
