Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Dallas seeks a Vice President Software Engineer to drive data-driven platform delivery within The Core Engineering group. You will own end-to-end systems in a fast-paced, business-facing environment, focusing on data modelling, warehousing, and scalable software for risk, finance, and analytics.

Lead design, collaborate with partners, and mentor engineers while leveraging cloud and ML capabilities to modernize stacks and improve automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
8+ years of relevant experience in software development with strong data skills.
Strong problem-solver who works well in a delivery-focused global team.
Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment across Finance and Core divisions.
Build and evolve data models, warehousing, and analytics solutions.
Develop technical specifications, design, testing, and deployment plans from business requirements.
Manage end-to-end SDLC from requirements to maintenance.
Explore new technologies to meet project needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver scalable software.
