Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Vice President Software Engineer in Dallas for Core Engineering, Shared Services, and Data Engineering. The role focuses on building scalable data platforms, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions across multiple core functions including Risk, Compliance, and Financial Reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
8+ years of software development experience with data modelling and analytics.
Strong programming experience in Java, Python, or C++.
Knowledge of relational and columnar SQL databases and data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment across Finance and Core divisions.
Build and deploy scalable data platforms and analytics solutions.
Lead end-to-end software development including requirements, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with business partners to translate needs into data-driven solutions.
Continuously modernize and consolidate software stacks and data pipelines.
