Goldman Sachs looking for a Vice President of Software Engineering in Dallas to lead The Core Engineering's data reconciliation and platform initiatives. You will drive critical financial systems powering P&L, capital, and liquidity metrics.

You will partner with global teams, design scalable architectures, and mentor engineers. The role demands deep finance domain knowledge, strong communication, and a track record of delivering complex projects across regions.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required.
• 10+ years of Engineering Industry experience is desirable.
• 5+ years of development experience with Java and other programming languages.
• Knowledge of traditional (RDBMS) and NoSQL datastores.
• Cloud experience is preferred.
• Experience designing and architecting systems.
• Experience defining a long term vision for a product.
• Strong project and people management skills.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and business audiences.
• Experience in financial domain is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain financial systems to manage P&L, capital, and liquidity.
• Define the vision for systems to support strategies in a changing regulatory landscape.
• Partner with other divisions and engineering teams to meet goals.
• Understand business needs and develop data requirements and specs.
• Develop high level and detailed technical designs, testing strategies, and implementation plans.
• Implement and maintain best practices for software development and engineering processes.
