Job summary
Vensure Employer Solutions seeks an accomplished VP of Data & Business Analytics - Commissions to own the monthly commissions cycle and lead a nine-person team. You will perform advanced Excel, Power Query, ARR modeling, and SQL/Snowflake work, partnering with Sales, Payroll, HR, Legal, and Accounting to optimize revenue calculations and payouts.
The role requires hands-on leadership, strong data governance, and a track record of delivering accurate, timely commission outcomes within a complex
Qualifications
- Advanced Excel with Power Query and data transformation skills.
- Strong SQL/database experience supporting Snowflake reporting.
- Solid accounting foundation with ARR calculations and revenue recognition.
- Experience owning a monthly commissions cycle at scale (~80 deliverables).
- Proven people leadership of a team of six or more.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end monthly commissions cycle and data hygiene across systems.
- Lead the commissions team of ~9 specialists and drive performance.
- Coordinate with Sales, Payroll, Finance, HR, and Legal for cross-functional work.
- Oversee audits and journal entries related to commissions and revenue.
- Develop and maintain SOPs and cross-training trackers for continuity.
