Qualifications

  • Experience managing claims, disputes, change orders and variations.
  • Understanding of schedule, delay, liquidated damages and entitlement.
  • Experience working directly with Project Management and Construction teams.
  • Proven leadership experience managing contracts professionals.
  • Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills.

Job description

We're partnered with an EPC looking to appoint a VP of Contracts to lead contracts across a portfolio of major renewable energy projects.

This is a construction/EPC contracts role, not a supply-chain or procurement contracts position.

The ideal candidate's background will be predominantly from the construction/project delivery side of contracting. Supply chain, procurement or operations contracting experience alone is not the target background for this role. The focus is on candidates who understand the contractual risks associated with executing major construction projects.
