Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the construction operations strategy to support growth and profitability.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for Project Managers, Superintendents, Field Operations Managers, and other construction personnel.
  • Manage all phases of commercial plumbing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with estimating, engineering, BIM/VDC, fabrication, purchasing, and executive leadership during planning.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, labor productivity, forecasts, and profitability.
  • Review and approve project schedules, staffing plans, procurement strategies, and subcontractor performance.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures and performance metrics.
  • Foster relationships with general contractors, owners, developers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment, mentoring, and professional development initiatives.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to local building codes and safety policies.

Job description

The Vice President of Construction is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for all commercial plumbing construction projects. This executive role oversees project management, field operations, estimating collaboration, safety, scheduling, quality control, client relationships, and financial performance. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in commercial plumbing construction, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
