Job summary

Pacific Service Credit Union seeks a seasoned VP, Commercial Services to lead all aspects of commercial lending operations, including real estate and business banking, and to partner with the Chief Lending Officer on strategy and growth in Northern California.

You will drive policy, budgeting, and performance across teams, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering exceptional member experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in commercial lending and management, with underwriting experience.
• Proven knowledge of credit union lending, business banking, and regulations.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Self-starter with ability to drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with lending tools, technologies and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all commercial lending and business deposit operations.
• Develop long-range strategies and oversee department budgets and contracts.
• Drive origination, processing, underwriting, closing/funding, and servicing of loans.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and policy consistency across departments.
• Mentor managers and staff; set goals and provide performance feedback.
• Collaborate with BI/Data Analytics teams to support organizational initiatives.
• Lead enterprise-wide initiatives in product development, cost optimization, and process improvements.
