SitusAMC is seeking a senior Cloud Platform Engineer to join our remote, full-time team. You will drive automation, security, and scalability across AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes, partnering with product and security teams.

You will mentor engineers, design IaC frameworks, and implement CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD, FluxCD, and GitHub Actions, ensuring high availability and compliance with industry standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent education/experience.
• 8+ years in industry; AVP or equivalent level experience preferred.
• 10-15 years in cloud automation and infrastructure development preferred.
• 8+ years AWS security & networking experience.
• Terraform mastery with extensive hands-on implementation.
• 6+ years of GitOps and automation pipelines (ArgoCD, FluxCD) and related tools.
• Kubernetes and service mesh experience (Istio, Linkerd).
• Experience with cloud-native scaling tools like Karpenter.
• 6+ years coding in Python or shell for automation.
• Proficiency with AWS services (EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM).

• Engineering & Leadership: Lead as individual contributor and mentor within Cloud Platform Engineering.
• Infrastructure as Code: Design, build, and maintain automated infra using Terraform and AWS services.
• CI/CD & Deployment Automation: Develop pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, FluxCD for various architectures.
• Cloud Architecture & Security: Align with AWS Well-Architected Framework and security standards.
• Operational Excellence: Deliver solutions in multi-customer environments with speed and precision.
• Strategic Planning: Develop IaC strategy across products with varying maturity.
• AWS Security & Networking: Implement IAM, Security Groups, NACLs, and VPC configurations.
• Collaboration & Communication: Partner with stakeholders on design decisions and updates.
• Innovation & Scalability: Architect and develop new AWS services using Kubernetes, Istio/Linkerd, and Karpenter.
• Best Practices & Standards: Establish infrastructure design best practices and templates.
• Other activities as assigned by manager.
