Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to lead design and delivery of automated cloud infrastructure. You will mentor teammates, implement Terraform/IaC with AWS services, and build advanced CI/CD pipelines for multiple architectures.

Focus areas include cloud security, AWS Well-Architected standards, Istio/Linkerd service meshes, Kubernetes, and scalable cloud-native solutions using Karpenter. Remote role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years in industry with AVP level experience or equivalent.
• 10-15 years in cloud automation and infrastructure development preferred.
• 8+ years AWS security & networking experience.
• Terraform mastery with hands-on experience.
• 6+ years GitOps & automation pipelines (ArgoCD, FluxCD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Kubernetes and service mesh experience (Istio/Linkerd).
• Experience with Karpenter for automated cloud scaling.
• 6+ years programming in Python or scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and mentor within the Cloud Platform Engineering team.
• Design, build, and maintain automated infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services.
• Develop advanced CI/CD pipelines across monolithic, stateless, and serverless apps.
• Design security and compliance frameworks aligned with AWS Well-Architected, NIST.
• Implement service mesh and cloud-native scaling with Kubernetes and Karpenter.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive scalable infrastructure across environments.
