SitusAMC is seeking a Sr. Cloud Platform Engineer to lead as both individual contributor and mentor within the Cloud Platform Engineering team. The role focuses on IaC with Terraform and AWS services, plus CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and FluxCD.

You will design scalable, secure cloud architectures and drive automation across multi-customer environments. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in cloud automation, 2+ years in AVP-level roles, and deep experience with

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
8+ years in industry with 2+ years in AVP-level responsibilities.
10-15 years in cloud automation and infrastructure development preferred.
8+ years AWS Security & Networking experience.
Mastery of Terraform and extensive IaC experience.
6+ years building GitOps pipelines with ArgoCD/FluxCD and automation tools.
Strong Kubernetes and service mesh experience (Istio/Linkerd).
Experience with Kubernetes auto-scaling (Karpenter) and cloud-native scaling.
6+ years coding in Python or shell for automation.
AWS services proficiency: EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, firewall rules.

Mansioni

Contribute as individual contributor and mentor within the Cloud Platform Engineering team.
Design, build, and maintain automated infrastructure with Terraform and AWS services.
Develop pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, FluxCD) for deployment across architectures.
Design architectures aligned with AWS Well-Architected Framework and security standards.
Deliver solutions in high-pressure, multi-customer environments with speed and precision.
Develop tactical IaC strategy plans across products with varying maturity.
Implement and manage IAM, Security Groups, NACLs, and VPC configurations for cloud security.
Collaborate with stakeholders on design decisions and provide project updates to leadership.
Architect and develop scalable cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes, Istio/Linkerd, and Karpenter.
Establish infrastructure design best practices, templates, and processes.
