Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking a senior Cloud Platform Engineer to lead the Cloud Platform Engineering team, driving IaC, CI/CD, and secure cloud architectures in a remote US setting.

You will design Terraform-based infrastructures on AWS, implement GitOps pipelines with ArgoCD and FluxCD, and ensure compliance with security standards while delivering scalable, high-availability services across multi-customer environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years in industry with 2+ years in AVP-level responsibilities.
• 10-15 years in cloud automation and infrastructure development preferred.
• 8+ years managing IAM, security groups, NACLs, and other AWS controls.
• Mastery of Terraform with hands-on implementation.
• 6+ years building GitOps pipelines (ArgoCD, FluxCD) and Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions.
• Strong Kubernetes and service mesh experience (Istio/Linkerd).
• Experience with Karpenter for autoscaling.
• 6+ years coding in Python or Shell for automation.
• Proficient in AWS services: EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM.

Responsibilities

• Engineering & Leadership: contribute as an individual contributor and mentor within Cloud Platform Engineering.
• Infrastructure as Code: design, build, and maintain automated infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services.
• CI/CD & Deployment Automation: develop pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, FluxCD.
• Cloud Architecture & Security: align with AWS Well-Architected Framework and security standards.
• Operational Excellence: deliver solutions in multi-customer environments with speed and precision.
• Strategic Planning: develop IaC strategy across products with varying maturity.
• AWS Security & Networking: implement IAM policies, Security Groups, NACLs, VPC configurations.
• Collaboration & Communication: partner with stakeholders on design decisions and updates.
• Innovation & Scalability: architect and develop cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes and Karpenter.
