RRD is seeking a Vice President of AI & Software Engineering to lead the shift to an AI-native engineering organization. This role shapes the technology strategy, governance, and investment priorities while guiding a modern, AI-powered software portfolio.

The leader will drive AI across development lifecycle, modernize legacy platforms, and balance innovation with disciplined execution and financial stewardship. A strong background in AI tech, architecture, and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
10-14 years of technical experience with 4-6 years of direct management experience.
Experience leading enterprise application modernization toward modular, API-first, cloud-ready architectures.
Deep understanding of the AI software engineering landscape with AI-assisted and agentic approaches.
Ability to establish and evolve engineering standards, architecture principles, and governance.
Experience leading evolution of engineering operating models and practices.

Responsibilities

Define and lead the adoption of AI across the software development lifecycle, including AI-assisted definition, design, development, and delivery.
Maintain a current understanding of the evolving AI engineering landscape and adapt practices accordingly.
Establish measurable approaches for evaluating AI impact on productivity, quality, and delivery speed.
Architect applications and infrastructure to be agent-ready with guardrails and modernization standards.
Provide technical leadership on emerging AI technologies and vendor decisions.
