Job summary

Vanta is hiring a Head of Design to lead a ~40-person design organization, shaping AI-native product experiences and building quality systems that keep design at scale. You will drive cross-functional partnerships and establish AI-forward practices across GRC, Trust, Platform, Self-serve, and AI.

You should bring 15+ years of design experience, at least 5 years leading large teams, and a strong track record in AI-enabled, B2B SaaS environments. Authorized to work in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of design experience, with 5+ years leading and scaling large design organizations, with director-level reports.
• Deep fluency in interaction design and visual craft; high-quality design outputs.
• Deep B2B SaaS experience with complex workflows and multi-user products.
• Org-level AI fluency, tooling, and adoption within a design team’s practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ~40 designers and design directors across GRC, Trust, Platform, Self-serve, and AI.
• Define what great design looks like as products are shaped by AI.
• Establish AI-native design practices and workflows.
• Set a shared standard for design quality and build supporting systems.
• Recruit and grow the team, maintain AI fluency, and close capability gaps.
