Job summary

Vanta is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to lead end-to-end product engineering across the stack. You will partner with product and design to convert ambiguous customer problems into simple, high-quality experiences.

Depending on priorities, you may build AI-powered workflows or systems that transform signals into trustworthy recommendations. You’ll tackle unique technical challenges and help customers move from manual work to continuous, informed decision-making as Vanta scales.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full stack development with backend focus.
• Proven technical leadership experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience building user-facing SaaS products.
• Startup background or bias for action.
• Experience delivering 0→1 products and solving large-scale problems.
• Interest in security, risk, privacy, or AI governance.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Go is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, scope, and lead large technical projects for scalable products.
• Own customer-facing product experiences from problem understanding to launch and measurement.
• Make tradeoffs balancing business priorities, UX, and technical foundation.
• Build reliable, secure systems connecting data across people, assets, controls, vendors.
• Collaborate with product, design, domain experts, and engineers to bring AI-powered workflows to production.
• Ensure quality, explainability, and customer trust in AI features.
• Use AI thoughtfully to prototype, test, and learn while maintaining security.
• Contribute to Vanta's engineering culture as we grow.
