Job summary

XRHealth Inc. in Needham, MA, seeks a VP of AI to redesign operations with AI and automation, spanning clinical, revenue cycle, finance, HR, IT, and legal. This executive role focuses on process mapping, ROI-backed initiatives, and scalable AI systems across the organization.

You will own end-to-end AI programs, governance, data foundations, and tooling, while driving adoption and maintaining HIPAA-compliant, privacy-minded solutions in a regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in operations, technology, data, or transformation roles, including 3+ years leading AI, automation, or intelligent-process work with results you can quantify.
• Hands-on fluency with SQL, Python, modern LLM APIs and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience in regulated environments, with PHI, HIPAA implications for system design, data flow, and vendor interactions.
• Strong process-analysis discipline; able to quantify before building and tell stakeholders when ideas don’t pencil out.
• Exceptional cross-functional influence; ability to drive change with clinicians and senior leaders.
• Comfort operating from board-level narrative to hands-on pipeline debugging.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive process discovery and opportunity mapping for XRHealth operations.
• Deliver AI-powered workflows, agentic tooling, intelligent routing, and automation across systems.
• Establish and govern XRHealth AI governance, privacy, security, and PHI handling standards.
• Partner with data teams to ensure data quality, lineage, and access controls for AI workflows.
• Own the AI tooling stack and vendor relationships, including cost management.
• Lead enablement: training, playbooks, and patterns to raise AI literacy across the company.
