The Fedcap Group’s Apex Technical School seeks a Vice President for Academic Affairs to lead all academic and technical training programs, ensuring rigorous standards and continuous improvement from enrollment through graduation and employment.

Reporting to the COO/SVP for Administration, you will oversee curriculum, faculty performance, accreditation, and student outcomes while collaborating with leadership, instructors, student services, enrollment, operations, and employers to strengthen the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree or other advanced degree preferred.
• Significant senior‑level experience in career and technical education, workforce education, higher education, proprietary education, community colleges, or related environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading academic programs, instructors, curriculum, and student outcomes.
• Strong understanding of career and technical education and relationship between education, industry credentials, employer expectations, and employment outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide institution-wide leadership for all academic and technical education programs.
• Establish standards for instructional quality, curriculum delivery, student learning, and faculty performance.
• Ensure consistency in academic standards and program delivery across departments, schedules, and locations.
• Lead development, review, and continuous improvement of academic programs.
• Maintain alignment with industry standards, technology, equipment, and employer expectations.
