Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health seeks a Vice President of Neurosciences - Neurosurgery to expand neurosurgical services across the RWJBarnabas Health system and Rutgers departments. You will oversee strategic direction, financial performance, and integration of the neurosurgical platform, collaborating with Rutgers and RWJBH leadership.

The role requires a strong background in academic medicine, leadership across multiple sites, and a focus on growth, quality, and patient outcomes within a complex health

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within a hospital, health system, or academic medical center.
• Ability to translate strategy into growth and improved performance.

Responsibilities

• Advance the system-wide Neurosurgery growth strategy across RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers.
• Partner with physician leaders, hospital executives, and Rutgers leadership to align priorities.
• Review financial and operational performance and develop action plans.
• Lead growth initiatives such as new programs, investments, and market development.
• Strengthen integration between RWJBH and Rutgers Neurosurgery with standardization.
