Job summary

VTG seeks a Program Manager in Washington, DC to lead a major Navy systems development program. You will direct planning, schedules, budgets, and deliverables while engaging the customer and guiding technical activities.

The role requires 15 years Navy/DoW experience or 10 years with a Master's, PMP/DAWIA III, and a DoD Secret clearance. Strong communication and subcontractor management skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any technical-related field or engineering field with 15 years related Navy/DoW experience or.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field with 10 years of related experience.
  • PMP or DAWIA III in Program Management.
  • Excellent communication and briefing skills.
  • Program Management experience running a large support services contract with subcontractors.
  • Experience with cost, schedule and performance management of professional services contract.
  • Must have and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead overall planning, direction and success of a major Navy program.
  • Engage with customers directly and regularly.
  • Guide technical activities and allocate qualified personnel and resources.
  • Train and develop team members; establish milestones, schedules and budgets.
  • Oversee preparation and submittal of quality deliverables.
  • Contribute to business development efforts when appropriate.
