Job summary

Atlas Healthcare Partners is seeking a Vice President of Operations to oversee a portfolio of Ambulatory Surgery Centers across a multi-state region, including California, with travel to the broader territory. You will partner with ASC CEOs, drive growth strategies, and ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 8–10+ years of healthcare management experience, strong financial acumen, and proven leadership in strategic planning, contract management, and physician

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 8–10+ years in progressive management roles within healthcare.
• Experience in strategic planning and business development across markets.
• Experience scaling a service-oriented business model and managing contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of ASCs across a geographic region; provide leadership to center leadership, staff, and physicians.
• Develop programs to engage physicians and improve staff and patient satisfaction.
• Lead expansion of services, including new facilities, lease agreements, and capacity planning.
• Guide strategic initiatives across ASCs and drive annual operating plans.
• Oversee revenue cycle activities and alignment with budgeted targets.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with centralized services and other departments to optimize operations.
• Report to Atlas leadership and partner with physician leadership for market growth.
