Job summary

Humana is seeking an Associate Vice President, Model & AI Governance, to lead enterprise governance for models, AI risks, and responsible AI. You will collaborate with executives across technology, data, compliance, privacy, and security to ensure safe, ethical, and transparent AI deployment aligned with Humana’s risk appetite.

Responsibilities include maintaining the governance framework, risk assessments, and overseeing model inventory.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in risk management, model risk management, AI governance, technology risk, data governance, analytics, compliance or internal audit.
• Significant experience leading enterprise-wide model governance, AI governance or technology risk programs.
• Executive-level experience within a complex, highly regulated organization, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously enhance the enterprise model governance framework and inventory.
• Define model risk appetite, taxonomy, control standards and escalation thresholds.
• Provide challenge over model development, validation, implementation and monitoring.
• Establish governance over third-party and externally developed models.
• Develop and oversee the organization’s Responsible AI framework and principles.
• Lead AI risk governance committees and report to executive management and boards.
