Job summary

Humana seeks an Associate Vice President, Model & AI Governance, to lead the enterprise framework for model governance, AI risk management, responsible AI, and governance controls. This executive oversees governance, risk, controls, monitoring, and escalation to ensure safe, ethical, transparent, and compliant AI deployment.

The role partners with senior leaders across technology, data, privacy, legal, compliance and risk to identify, govern, monitor, and report AI risks while maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in risk management, AI governance, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide model governance programs.
• Strong ability to present to executive management and boards.

Responsibilities

• Own and enhance the enterprise model governance framework across identification, risk tiering, validation, and retirement.
• Define model risk appetite, taxonomy, and escalation thresholds.
• Provide challenge over model development, validation, and monitoring.
• Oversee the enterprise model inventory and risk classification.
• Develop an Responsible AI framework and governance standards.
• Lead governance committees and report risk exposure to leadership and boards.
