Job summary

JLL is seeking a Vice President to lead the Master Plan Advisory team, directing master planning, feasibility, and due diligence across the Americas. You will manage a portfolio of engagements, guide multi-market teams, and drive business development to expand the national platform.

You will mentor project managers, foster senior client relationships, and collaborate with design and infrastructure specialists to deliver solutions aligned with market needs. Some travel nationwide is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Master Planning, Urban Design, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in project management, master planning or development, including leading teams and multi-market engagements.
• Strong understanding of master planning, infrastructure design, entitlements, and jurisdictional approvals.
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing project teams.
• Experience in business development, including pitching and securing new client engagements.
• Strong financial acumen, with budgeting and financial reporting across a portfolio.
• Excellent client management, with ability to build long-term senior relationships.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a national portfolio of master planning, feasibility, and due diligence engagements across markets.
• Direct delivery of master plan projects from inception to completion across sectors (Mixed Use, Education, Healthcare, Institutional, Industrial, Life Sciences).
• Oversee 2D/3D density studies, site test fits, and implementation plans reflecting constructability and client objectives.
• Provide senior oversight of zoning analysis and entitlement processes with jurisdictions and stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor a team of project managers and senior project managers for growth.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnering with BD to develop client pursuit strategies and secure engagements.
