Openprise Inc. is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Marketing in San Mateo, CA to lead the company’s marketing strategy and organization. You will own demand generation, product marketing, and communications, partnering with Sales, Product, and leadership to drive measurable programs.

You will build and mentor a high-performing team, shape market narrative, and partner to scale branding and category development in a fast-growing, venture-backed environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in progressive marketing leadership roles.
• Strong demand generation background.
• Experience scaling marketing at a venture-backed Series A/B company.
• Excellent executive communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Openprise's positioning for key buyer personas across core use cases.
• Lead demand generation, product marketing, and marketing communications.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
• Strengthen market position via category development, brand strategy, and differentiated messaging.
• Define and communicate a clear company and product narrative.
• Design and execute programs that generate demand, enable sales, and build customer engagement.
• Establish Openprise as a RevOps thought leader through high-quality content.
• Build relationships with analysts, partners, customers, and industry leaders.
• Manage a small team of 5.
