Job summary

SmartRent seeks a senior marketing executive to own the company’s brand, narrative, digital presence, and demand generation for a hardware-enabled SaaS platform in the multifamily industry.

You’ll shape investment decisions, lead a lean but high-impact marketing organization, and partner with the CEO, CRO, and broader leadership to drive pipeline and revenue growth. Based in the Phoenix area.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in B2B marketing with multi-discipline responsibility.
• 5+ years in a head-of-marketing or VP role leading enterprise programs.
• Led a major brand repositioning or comprehensive rebrand.
• Experience guiding long, complex enterprise sales cycles.
• Hands-on ABM, multi-touch attribution, and revenue reporting.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and agency relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own brand strategy, positioning, voice, and market rollout end to end.
• Lead digital experience, website strategy, and SEO across platforms.
• Build and run a full-funnel demand marketing engine for enterprise accounts.
• Own go-to-market for hardware-enabled software, including product launches.
• Shaped thought leadership and customer advocacy across the ecosystem.
• Develop and manage budget, headcount, and agency partnerships.
• Collaborate with Sales, RevOps, Product, and Communications at the executive level.
