Saildrone seeks a Vice President of Marketing to lead the DC Capture team and realign marketing to Washington, DC. This role drives revenue growth, crafts a defense-focused marketing architecture, and guides the firm from early growth to mature enterprise status.

The candidate will oversee brand strategy, demand generation, and engagement with policymakers, with a focus on defense contracts and federal opportunities. Strong leadership and Budget discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven enterprise-scale marketing leadership in the defense/national security space.
• Ability to build macro-level campaigns and align with BD in long-cycle outs
• Experience managing top-tier external agencies and crisis comms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the overarching marketing strategy to transition Saildrone to enterprise maturity.
• Architect and execute campaigns aligned with BD objectives for federal acquisitions.
• Direct external agencies and selectively use outside counsel for high-fidelity delivery at scale.
