Job summary

Johnson & Associates seeks a Vice President, Head of Loan Agency Middle Office to lead a high-performing team delivering admin agency services for complex lending transactions. The role shapes processes, drives innovation, and collaborates with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, inclusive environment.

The team coordinates with borrowers, lenders, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient execution, governance, and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years’ experience in an Agency Middle/Front Office role, ideally with highly structured transactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, loan systems (e.g., Loan IQ), and debt domain expertise.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with a track record of team development and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of loans agency professionals, overseeing the administrative and collateral agency functions for complex lending transactions.
• Act as the primary escalation point for intricate agency matters, including amendments, waivers, consents, and documentation interpretation.
• Partner with origination, lending, legal, risk, and operations teams to ensure seamless transaction execution, governance, and client service.
• Drive process improvements, standardisation, and scalable operating practices to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Maintain strong risk controls, compliance, and governance in line with legal documentation and market standards.
