Job summary

Pacific Life Insurance Company seeks a senior actuarial leader to direct Inforce Management for Life Insurance across multiple blocks. The role demands translating complex analytics into executive-level recommendations, driving profitability, and shaping risk governance.

You will collaborate with Product, Finance, Risk, and FP&A to influence pricing, assumptions, and portfolio management while developing talent and leading strategic decision-making at the enterprise level.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive actuarial experience in the life insurance field.
• FSA strongly preferred; ASA with significant leadership experience may be considered.
• MBA or advanced business degree preferred but not required.
• Deep understanding of Life insurance products and Inforce dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial and risk narrative for Life Insurance Inforce across UL, IUL, VUL, Term, COLI/BOLI and related blocks.
• Drive profitability sustainability, capital efficiency, reinsurance strategy, and Inforce actions.
• Partner with Product, Finance, Risk, Legal, Reinsurance, Investments, and FP&A to influence pricing and governance.
• Frame trade-offs between growth, earnings stability, capital efficiency, and risk.
• Lead analytics on mortality, lapse, premium persistency, and earnings attribution for life Inforce.
