Job summary

AGC seeks a Vice President, Lending Manager to lead the lending function from Anchorage, overseeing loan production, portfolio management, and regulatory compliance. You will guide strategic direction, cultivate relationships with stakeholders, and drive growth while maintaining credit quality.

The role requires extensive experience in commercial lending and strong leadership, with responsibilities spanning supervision, risk management, and collaboration with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Fifteen years of commercial lending, banking, or credit administration experience.
• Seven years of management experience leading lending or credit teams.
• Experience with SBA 7(a), USDA Business & Industry, or similar government-guaranteed lending programs preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for AGC's lending activities in alignment with goals.
• Partner with the President & CEO on strategic planning and growth initiatives.
• Establish objectives, performance standards, and KPIs for lending.
• Oversee portfolio quality, credit risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing lending team.
• Review and approve commercial loan requests consistent with policies.
