Job summary

First National Capital is seeking an experienced Vice President of Documentation & Lease Administration in Irvine, CA, to lead the documentation and funding function for complex equipment finance transactions.

You will mentor the Lease Administration team, oversee transaction execution, and partner with Sales, Credit, Syndication, Accounting, Legal, and senior leadership to move deals efficiently from approval through funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years in equipment finance documentation and funding.
• Experience leading documentation or lease administration teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Lease Administration team, including hiring, training, and performance feedback.
• Set standards for documentation quality, turnaround time, and funding accuracy.
• Draft, review, and negotiate equipment lease and loan documents and contracts.
• Provide final review and approval of key documents before closing and funding.
• Manage complex transactions from credit approval through funding and post-closing follow‑up.
• Oversee UCC filings, lien perfection, titling, and multi-state tax considerations.
• Negotiate with banks, vendors, customers, and debt sources.
• Partner with Sales, Credit, and Syndication to mitigate documentation risks.
