Citi is seeking a Java & Microservices Development Lead – Vice President to drive server-side Java development, Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, and microservices architecture. You will lead engineering teams, ensure scalable designs, and own critical APIs in a high‑availability financial services environment.

Ideal candidates have 6–10 years of Java experience, strong Spring skills, microservices, and cloud practice (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development with strong OOP and design patterns.

Responsabilités

• Translate complex business requirements into robust software solutions with Product teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable designs.
• Design and build complex solutions aligned with architecture standards.
• Coordinate integration testing and UAT to ensure quality deployment.
• Understand software architecture and make trade-off decisions.
• Develop extensible solutions and optimize bottlenecks.
• Mentor junior engineers and address Risk & Control items.
• Work with Project Managers, BAs, and users to deliver projects.
• Handle code releases across environments.
