Job summary

Citi is seeking an Applications Development Lead Analyst to head Java-based enterprise solutions. Based in Pune/Chennai with a hybrid work model, you will drive architecture decisions, mentor teams, and apply AI-powered tooling to accelerate delivery.

You will leverage Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, and MongoDB to build cloud-native applications while ensuring security, scalability, and alignment with Citi’s standards and governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of application development experience.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs & Microservices, Multithreading & Concurrency, and SQL/RDBMS.
• Experience with cloud platforms, Kafka, MongoDB, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of cloud-native apps using Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, and MongoDB.
• Drive architecture decisions and governance across multiple projects.
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices and SDLC improvements.
• Leverage AI-powered coding tools to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
