Job summary

Citi in Chennai, India seeks a Senior Java Solutions Architect- Vice President to design and lead enterprise-grade technology solutions across application, data, and cloud platforms using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Oracle, Snowflake and AI frameworks.

You will drive end-to-end cloud-native designs, data pipelines, microservices, API architectures, and DevOps with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins and GitHub Actions, collaborating across global teams and governance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of strong experience in Application Development or systems analysis role.
• Strong Experience on Architecting Enterprise highly scalable applications.
• Extensive experience in system analysis and in programming of software applications.
• Proven engineering experience building robust, scalable, and maintainable applications in the Finance Technology industry.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end, cloud-native solutions leveraging Java Spring Boot, Angular
• Architect and integrate high-performance data pipelines across Oracle, Snowflake and associated ecosystems.
• Lead microservices and API architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and governance across development teams.
• Drive DevOps automation with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Enforce enterprise security, performance, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business needs with technical strategy.
