Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Lead Java Development professional in Pune to drive complex systems and modernize applications using microservices and SOA patterns. You will work with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and modern Java stack, while also contributing to UI with Angular or React and ensuring robust data handling with Oracle and Snowflake.

The role emphasizes collaboration, architecture, and leadership within a hybrid environment, with strong emphasis on governance, security, and scalable design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Strong backend experience with Java, Spring Boot and microservices.
• Experience with frontend frameworks (Angular/React) is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle/Snowflake/SQL databases and data processing.
• Experience with cloud-native services and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business processes and design high level solutions.
• Develop microservices using Java, Spring, REST APIs and messaging.
• Build UI with Angular or React and integrate with backend services.
• Develop backend data persistence with Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL.
• Deploy services in containers using Docker and Kubernetes; enable CI/CD pipelines.
