Job summary

Family Dollar seeks an experienced technology leader to shape investment decisions, align IT roadmaps, and ensure disciplined delivery of major initiatives across a large retail enterprise.

You will partner with the CIO and senior executives to translate priorities into a measurable portfolio, drive financial rigor, and establish a quality-focused delivery culture across multiple programs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in IT strategy, enterprise PMO/portfolio management, governance, or transformation within a large organization.
• Proven ownership of multimillion-dollar technology portfolios, budgets, cross-functional programs, and executive reporting.
• Strong ability to influence senior executives and drive decisions through execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise Strategic Investment Planning process end-to-end, including governance and executive decision support.
• Translate priorities into an integrated IT roadmap with milestones and risk management.
• Own IT budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls across major programs.
• Provide enterprise-wide oversight of large technology programs and delivery standards.
• Build and mature a Testing/QA Center of Excellence with automated testing and release readiness metrics.
• Lead three direct-report functions: PMO – Projects; PMO – Assets, Invoices & Budgets; and Quality Assurance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Architecture, Security, and delivery teams to ensure measurable business benefits.
