Job summary

Family Dollar’s Chesapeake, VA location seeks an experienced PMO Director to lead the Technology shared services PMO, enabling IT and business teams to steer portfolio outcomes. The role partners with Finance and IT to govern the department and communicates with all management levels.

Key duties include overseeing transformation projects, defining KPIs and dashboards, and aligning the technology roadmap with business goals over the next three years.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in technology project management.
• 6+ years leading technology project management teams.
• Experience delivering technology transformation projects.
• Experience managing simultaneous and complex technology projects.
• Strong retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, measurement, and management of transformation projects with transparent stakeholder updates.
• Produce data and metrics for CIO and leaders to inform priorities, lifecycle, spend, and resources.
• Inform and recommend actions on portfolio requests, progress, risks, and updates at governance meetings.
• Lead portfolio planning and budget for the following year with technology leadership.
• Communicate governance and execution to all levels of the organization, ensuring compliance.
