Job summary

Landmark Credit Union seeks a VP of IT Platforms to own strategy, engineering, and modernization of core infrastructure and platform services. You will lead cloud, DevOps, and site reliability engineering initiatives to ensure secure, observable, and scalable platforms.

You will partner with Information Security, set reliability standards, and build a high-performing team across cloud, networks, and systems to support regulated operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure or platform leadership experience.
• Experience leading cloud infrastructure, DevOps/platform engineering, systems engineering, and network engineering.
• Experience building or maturing SRE, observability, or reliability engineering practices.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, telemetry, incident management, resiliency, automation, and service performance management.
• Experience partnering with Information Security and embedding security practices into platform work.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi-year platform strategy aligned to growth and modernization goals.
• Lead design, implementation, support, and optimization of cloud and on‑premises infrastructure platforms.
• Oversee systems and network engineering, architecture standards, resilience, and capacity planning.
• Build and mature DevOps practices to improve deployment speed and stability.
• Drive infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and platform automation.
• Establish and lead an SRE capability focused on reliability and incident reduction.
• Build an enterprise observability strategy including monitoring, logging, and telemetry standards.
• Partner with Information Security on vulnerability remediation and platform security.
• Ensure business continuity, disaster recovery, and regulatory resilience requirements.
• Lead and develop managers, engineers, and technical specialists across cloud, DevOps, network, and systems.
