Talentedge Recruitment Limited, in partnership with a DeepTech hardware + AI company, is hiring a Head of Investor Relations for NYC. This hybrid role with Manhattan presence offers $250k–$270k base plus bonus and equity.

Qualifications

• Trained in investment banking with exposure to tech/hardware or growth equity.
• In-house IR or corporate development experience at VC-backed hardware/tech startups.
• Direct experience leading fundraising rounds of VC-backed companies (VC/crossover).
• Strong financial modeling and ability to translate technical detail into investor messaging.
• Highly organized, self-directed builder with ownership and ambiguity tolerance.
• Existing relationships with growth-stage and late-stage investors are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own Investor Relations end-to-end: build strategy, processes, and infrastructure for investor engagement.
• Lead investor relationships as the day-to-day point of contact for existing and prospective investors.
• Drive fundraising execution with CEO, CFO, and Finance for $100m+ rounds.
• Shape the equity narrative: translate hardware/AI tech into an investor-friendly story.
• Own investor communications: updates, quarterly reporting, board materials.
• Build IR infrastructure: stand up CRM, KPI packs, and reporting templates.
• Represent the company externally: participate in investor conferences and roadshows.
• Plan long-term capital strategy with leadership for future growth equity or pre-IPO rounds.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Communications to ensure consistent investor messaging.
