Job summary

Bain Capital Credit is seeking a Vice President to originate, structure and execute sophisticated fund and financing solutions for its insurance partners. You will own end-to-end transaction workstreams, from economic analysis to closing, while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external rating agencies.

You will build deep knowledge of insurers’ objectives, capital considerations and regulatory constraints, and mentor junior team members as part of a growing Private Credit Structuring

Qualifications

• Strong academic credentials and a track record of high performance.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience; backgrounds may include structured credit/finance, fund structuring, insurance solutions or private credit.

Responsibilities

• Originate, structure and execute Rated Note Feeders, fund obligations and other structured fund solutions for Insurance and risk-based capital investors.
• Develop understanding of investors’ objectives, portfolio targets and constraints.
• Lead end-to-end transaction workstreams: analysis, term sheets, due diligence, rating agency engagement, documentation, closing.
• Coordinate with Portfolio Managers, Legal, Treasury and external parties to drive execution.
• Manage rating agency processes and relationships and ensure timely delivery of cases.
