Job summary

Bain Capital is seeking a Vice President to lead the U.S. Corporate Finance organization, reporting to the U.S. Controller. This role sits at the Management Company level, providing broad visibility across the firm and exposure to finance leadership across the platform.

The successful candidate will build strong teams, transform processes, and drive governance, reporting, and strategic planning with a focus on scale and risk mitigation across onshore and offshore operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA required.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Experience in asset management, private equity, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and consolidated reporting.
• Experience managing multi-layered teams and offshore/outsourced partners.
• Experience leading process and systems transformation including AI/automation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and reporting for the Management Company and affiliated entities, and the broker-dealer.
• Lead a high-performing team of directors, managers, and associates.
• Partner with business units and regional finance teams to align priorities and drive policy.
• Drive the transformation of the Corporate Finance operating model with AI and automation.
• Ensure timely external audits, regulatory reporting, and control enhancements.
