Job summary

Alliance is seeking a Head of Capital Formation to own fundraising end to end for our venture funds. You will lead strategy, sourcing, pitching, and closing with institutional allocators, family offices, and HNWIs, reporting to a General Partner.

The role requires building and maintaining relationships, decks, and investor materials. NYC-based, onsite with frequent travel to SF and international locations; crypto/AI fluency and a track record of capital formation are essential for success in

Qualifications

• 5+ years raising for venture funds with closed commitments.
• Existing allocator network with fund of funds, family offices, and HNWIs.
• Crypto/fintech/tech exposure of 2+ years.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and discretion.
• Ability to manage long fundraising cycles in a CRM.
• Willingness to travel frequently, NYC base with SF/international travel.

Responsibilities

• Own the raise and execute the capital formation plan for Alliance's funds.
• Build and run the LP pipeline, qualification, and process to commitments.
• Be the primary voice to investors; manage decks, data room, and materials.
• Turn LPs into repeat backers; nurture long-term relationships.
• Shape fund positioning, sizing, timing, and investor relations strategy.
