LPL Financial is seeking a senior VP Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable technology infrastructure. This leadership role ensures reliability, security, and performance of critical systems to support growth and innovation.

Responsibilities include managing a team, developing a strategic infrastructure plan, and overseeing budgets, vendor relationships, and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
• 5+ years designing, implementing, and managing large-scale, complex enterprise-level infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of infrastructure engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives, focusing on scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure security and integrity of all infrastructure components through best practices, monitoring, and proactive threat mitigation.
• Drive adoption of new technologies to enhance infrastructure performance, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Manage vendor relationships and technology procurements to ensure value and service delivery.
• Develop and manage infrastructure budgets and forecasting.
• Establish and enforce infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the infrastructure team.
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.
