Job summary

LPL Financial is looking for a VP II, Market Leader to recruit high-quality financial advisors and deliver territory sales results. You will develop a multi-year recruiting strategy, coach field sales talent, and strengthen executive-level relationships to position LPL as the leading destination for advisors across independent, regional, and wirehouse channels.

Travel up to 80% is required; residence in the territory or relocation is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
10+ years of financial services experience, including field-based broker‑dealer business development or asset management.
Proven sales success with complex transactions and senior stakeholders.
Experience with cross-functional strategies in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with CRM and sales tools and accurate pipeline data.

Responsibilities

Own development and execution of a multi-year strategic territory recruiting plan.
Foster team-selling with VP, SVP, and EVP leaders across functions.
Lead leaders accountable for recruiting outcomes across geographies and markets.
Manage a recruiting pipeline transitioning financial advisors to LPL.
Develop recruiting and sales strategies; engage prospects; present LPL’s value.
Act as senior escalation point for complex advisor transactions and negotiations.
Build internal/external relationships and evaluate recruiting practices.
Use Salesforce and other tools to track deals and market trends.
