Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a strategic VP of HR Operations in Catonsville, MD to balance vision with execution. You will oversee HR Technology, Payroll, Total Rewards, HR Policies, and Service Delivery, driving efficiency, compliance, and scalable solutions to support business growth.

You will partner with HR leaders and business stakeholders to optimize processes, implement enterprise HR systems, and manage complex employee relations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 7+ years in multiple HR functions.
• Experience leading HR Operations, HR Technology, Payroll, Shared Services, and process improvements.
• Successful track record managing large-scale system implementations in multi-site environments.
• Strong strategic planning, project management, and execution skills.
• Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
• SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for complex employee relations matters in alignment with policies.
• Partner with HR leadership, Legal, and operations to mitigate risk and ensure policy compliance.
• Serve as escalation point for high-risk employee relations issues and guide resolutions.
• Lead strategy, planning, budgeting, and execution of HR Operations functions (HR tech, payroll, total rewards, service delivery).
• Improve HR processes, systems, and service delivery to enhance employee experience.
• Develop and execute HR technology and HRIS strategies for integration and adoption of enterprise systems.
• Lead change management initiatives to support large-scale HR transformations.
• Oversee payroll operations and vendor relationships for accuracy and audit readiness.
• Direct HR service delivery including shared services and employee support functions.
