Job summary

DegreeSight seeks a Sales Executive to own a territory end to end, from initial conversations to signed contracts, selling a high-impact platform to enrollment leaders at colleges and universities.

You will drive pipeline, conduct discovery, deliver demos and proposals, and coordinate with committees and procurement to close deals, then hand off to the field with actionable intelligence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, ideally selling to higher education.
• Natural consultant who asks better questions and listens to the answers.
• Understanding of how a campus operates: calendars, governance, procurement cycles.
• Strong written communication, capable of concise emails and documents.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and ownership in a fast-growing company.
• Proud of forecast accuracy and ability to forecast deliverables.
• Willing to travel to campuses and conferences about 20–30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Own a territory end to end from first conversation through signature.
• Pipeline development, discovery, demos, and formal proposals.
• Engage committees and procurement teams to advance deals.
• Handoff to field teams and provide intelligence post-signature.
