Job summary

Chatham Financial seeks an experienced accounting professional to join our Accounting Advisory team at the Vice President level in Colorado. You will advise finance and accounting stakeholders on hedge accounting, risk management, and complex financial reporting matters, partnering with clients to design, implement, and optimize hedging programs.

You'll collaborate with seasoned advisors and clients across industries, contributing to technical research, policy papers, and educational resources

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting.
• CPA designation or progress towards one preferred.
• Experience in accounting advisory, financial reporting, or related field.
• Strong communication and client-service orientation.
• Experience with US GAAP and IFRS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop hedge accounting expertise through client engagements.
• Advise on structuring and implementation of hedging programs.
• Prepare technical accounting analyses and disclosures.
• Manage client relationships through hedging lifecycles.
• Lead projects aligning with economic objectives and reporting.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver integrated solutions.
• Onboard new client portfolios and translate requirements to tech configurations.
• Conduct technical research on evolving standards (US GAAP/IFRS).
