Job summary

Chatham Financial is seeking an accounting professional to join our Accounting Advisory team at the Vice President level in Colorado. The role focuses on hedge accounting, financial risk management, and client service, advising on complex hedging strategies and reporting under US GAAP and IFRS.

You will collaborate with experienced advisors and clients, develop practical solutions, and contribute to the growth of our advisory capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or related field with substantial accounting coursework or education.
• CPA designation strongly preferred or progress toward CPA.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in hedge accounting and hedging strategies across interest rate, foreign currency, and commodity programs.
• Advise on structuring, implementation, and ongoing accounting of hedging activities including disclosures and sensitivity analyses.
• Prepare technical accounting analyses and educational materials for clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage client relationships and provide ongoing accounting guidance through hedging lifecycles and period-end reporting.
• Lead projects to design and implement hedge accounting programs aligned with clients’ objectives and risk management.
